Miu Miu opens the Venice Film Festival

On the next Friday, August 30th, Miu Miu will have the opening act with a short film on the Venice Film Festival. The fashion house is going to present the 4th chapter of 'Women's Tales' film series.

"It's getting late" is directed by Massy Tadjedin, and will tell us a short story that follows four women (star actresses Gemma Arterton, Aubrey Plaza, Patricia Clarkson and Rinko Kikuchi) as they prepare for a night out in Hollywood.

The movie will be displayed along with the previous films in the 'Women's Tale' series: 'The Powder Room', 'Muta' and 'The Woman Dress', giving way for a three day event organized by Miu Miu in cooperation with Venice Days (organization that promotes avant-garde cinema) supporting woman filmmakers.

The event includes meetings with all the directors of the four short films (Zoe Cassavetes, Lucrecia Martel, Giada Colagrande and Massy Tedjedin) and with the filmmakers Liliana Cavani, Nair Mira and Bier Susanne.
